Our Firm History

2020

Ember Capital Partners is founded by Jake & Colson

  • Jake Koferl & Colson Castilla come together with a vision to build the real estate firm they dreamed while together in college. They begin sourcing multifamily syndications and built relationships with national investment groups to provide financial analysis.
2021

Acquisition Services are launched

  • Following an unexpected departure of a client's aquisition director, ECP jumped on the opportunity to fill this void. Within the first year, ECP's acquisition team produced over 200 opportunities both on & off-market.

Our Firm History

2022

Ember & ECP expand services

  • Ember Capital begins to grow with new clients, services, and also adding two members to our acquisition team. Ember Capital Partners added Asset Management to its suite of services.
2023+

Become the premiere acquisition advisory group

  • Become the premiere RE investment & advisory firm providing a full stack of services for development & investment shops to tap into including acquisitions, underwriting, debt & equity, and entitlements as well as construction & asset management.
